Two former members of the chemistry department had a reunion in Auckland, New Zealand in December 2022. Peter Harwin (2001-2012) met up with Allan Robertson (2006– 2009) on Waiheke Island and reminisced about their time at Churcher’s College, exchanging many amusing stories. Not having benefited from the headmaster’s wine appreciation talks, they had to do their own research on the topic at a local winery. Allan and his wife Heather are planning to visit England in the summer of 2023, possibly visiting Churcher’s College during their time and, hopefully, meet up with former colleagues from the science department and other departments in which Allen worked.
