Barry's brother Gregory wrote to let us know the sad news that Barry's had passed away in Brussels in June 2022.

'Barry studied at Churcher’s from 1968 to 1975 and then went on to read English at Swansea University. He passed his PGCE and taught at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School in Marlow. In the 1980’s he moved to Portugal to teach before settling at the British School of Brussels where he worked until 2022.

Barry was a traveler, a literary authority and a remarkable humanist involved in NGO work for several causes.'
